I hope your Saturday is going well so far, it may be Sunday for some of you, but I’d love to tell you about my favourite eyeshadow collection or beauty brick before time runs out.
I’m loving the L.A. Girl Nudes Beauty Brick for so many reasons. I love the packaging and the palette itself reminds me of the Urban Decay Naked 3. It contains 12 eyeshadows and comes with a double ended brush with an applicator on the opposite end. It is a really good pigmented product for a fraction of the cost of other similar palettes, which is great for me. As you know I’m a mom and an entrepreneur, so I don’t always have lots of cash to splash on expensive beauty products, because I have to budget and let’s be honest most of it goes to groceries or my son.
I’ve also just started getting back into using makeup again, because I didn’t have the time previously with a colicky baby, a step-daughter at school and later a very busy toddler. My son is self-sufficient enough at this age, so I can actually spend the time I need to do my makeup and Mr approves as well. I find that this beauty brick is easy to use and all my favourite colours are in one place.
I’ve been using this palette for a while and I’ve enjoyed creating many looks like the neutral one I did for Mother’s Day:
I kept this look very simple, because we were going out for lunch, so a dramatic eye look would not be appropriate. I placed the 4th colour on the palette on my crease and the 8th colour on my outer crease. I then added the 6th colour to my outer lid and the 5th colour on my inner and middle lid. I finished it off with the first colour to highlight under my brow. The liner I used was by Wet and Wild, then I finished the look with mascara.
L.A. Girl Nudes is really affordable at $6.99. Get it on Amazon:

I know it has been in the market for quite some time, but I wrote this review in case there were some of you that didn’t know about it or never tried the product before. I’m really impressed with the quality and how long the eyeshadow lasts.
