#ThrowbackThursday: Tween Girl Gift Basket Ideas

Tween Girl Gift Basket Ideas

This is a post I wrote before my step-daughter’s tenth birthday last year. Birthdays seem to occur in a string in our family. My son kicks it off in October and it continues into April with my Gran’s birthday. Since my step-daughter lives back home in South Africa we send her care packages quite often. The one I will cover in this post is a birthday one so it has a few more items than we will usually include. It was really fun to find and compile the products that we eventually sent off. I hope this inspires you to create one for a loved one’s birthday or Christmas present. I apologize in advance for the grainy quality of these photos. I was using a bad camera at the time and I hope my skills have improved since then. (It isn’t called Throwback Thursday for nothing).

I’m quite birthday obsessed as you may have read in Giraffe House First Birthday Party  and The Birthday Party That Wasn’t.

So I when my step daughter’s birthday came around earlier this month I had to celebrate it in some way. She is living with her mother in another State, but I was able to courier her a gift box via Postnet. It costs R99 to courier anything within 0KG – 5KG counter to counter.

It was her tenth birthday and I must admit that I struggled to buy a gift for her age so I decided to put together a few of her favourite items and I’m so glad that I did!

You will need:

  3. Place it in the paper cup.
  4. Stick the toe divider on the side.
