My product of the month has to be the L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss in the colour Bazaar.
This is not a sponsored post, but it does contain an affiliate link.
I bought this product about two months ago and I wear it every time we go out, because it’s easy to apply, pigmented and lasts all day long.
I applied it in the morning. It’s actually more of a pink tone than it comes across in this selfie.
The same gloss in the afternoon after I curled my hair and went off to lunch.
Lunch with some South Africans. I had to change the T-shirt for the occasion and put the striped one on when we got home. I’m really messy so a white t-shirt at home wouldn’t stay white very long. I ate and the gloss stayed on.
This is a late afternoon selfie with my #MCEveryday, as you can see the gloss is still on so it gets bonus points for being long lasting. My mother tested it out, had a shower and still had the gloss on so it really works. It stains your lips slightly, that’s how it gets its longevity, but I’m not complaining.
I like the packaging as well and it seems like you get a generous amount of product as well.
The first application may feel a bit strange, because it’s a matte gloss and dries onto your lips. You get used to it in time.
I only bought it in the colour Bazaar, but I’m kicking myself because I should have purchased more shades or the mega pack with all the shades. It’s a really good product at an affordable price – $3.99 for one gloss or $37.87 for all 16.
It was a really good buy in my opinion and it’s a product I adore and one my husband loves too, because I don’t get lipstick on his lips anymore. So it’s a win-win for us.
