Zest For Blogging – Turning Blogging Into A Career

Zest for Blogging How To Turn Blogging Into a CareerZ

Blogging has been a passion of mine for over a year now and with good reason, but I’ve always wondered how to take a social blog to the next level.

There are many success stories of bloggers who make money and crazy amounts of followers daily, but how do they do it?

They are specific:

They know what their blog is about. Successful bloggers know their audience and their niche. They have a blog and social media strategy.

They connect with other Bloggers:

They connect with and share other blogger’s content on Facebook groups, Flip Board, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest and Stumble Upon.

They post regularly:

There’s always something new to read on the blog, which attracts readers and makes the blog viable for brands to advertise on or collaborate with.

 They are multi-skilled:

Career bloggers take courses on photography, illustration, public relations, marketing and social media.

They write for others:

They regularly contribute to other blogs and publications to establish credibility.

They look for blogging jobs:

Career bloggers look for companies who are looking for full-time or part time bloggers and send their resumes to these companies. You can too!

They collect revenue from their blogs:

They monetize their blog either actively or passively.

They promote themselves:

They think of their blog as a business and promote themselves to others.
